ExcelUtilities.xlclip โ€” Method
xlclip()

Copy Excel-copied data from the clipboard into a Julia vector or matrix (depending on shape). Single column or row are converted to Julia Vectors. Two dimensional data is copied into a matrix (2D array).

The data is parsed using CSV.jl; if you have questions about how it's being read check the documentation for that package.

Common issues are that the data you are trying to copy has numbers that are formatted in a way that is not natively recognized as numbers in Julia. Either make sure to make your numbers formatted in a standard format in Excel, e.g. -1235.32 and not (1,235.32).
